Hi, Miyuki here again ^_^. I heard that some of the Tricksters have problem when playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista, whether its not sound issue or slow performance hit issues such as when launching Trickster then your computer will stops responding.
Ok, it seems nowadays new notebooks that everyone bought now comes with preloaded Windows Vista…yeap, I do own a Windows Vista notebook :s.
Anyway, who actually to blame in this problem? mmm…I could say both :x Why? Windows Vista seems not compatible with some games, but usually latest patches and hot fixes will fixes the issue. Second, is NTreev, why? Since they didn’t even bother to upgrade their GayGuard module…er…GameGuard module. Latest GameGuard module fixes most the issues…but they don’t even freakin upgrade it yet ><…yet their GrandChase uses the latest GameGuard module >:o
So, fine, if they don’t upgrade it yet, here…I’ll help out you guys who have problem playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista ^_^…Just click the link and follow the picture guided steps =D.
But first, make sure you’ve logon to Windows Vista as administrator account.

Ok, this should solves the no sound issue, you’ll no need to re-start whole steps again if you closes Trickster Online. But, you MUST do the steps again if you restarted your computer. Below is some alternatives that if you encounter some problem or other simple way. Just replace it with Step 7 and onward.

Ok, as I mentioned, you should be able playing Trickster with sound now ^_^…
Another simpler method is by:
- Open up any music software such as foobar, winamp or windows media player.
- Play a song.
- Launch Trickster Online

Below is some other alternative that you could start Trickster Online without hassle to stop and start the audio service again.

Still, don’t put all blames to Windows Vista, its also NTreev’s fault for not upgrading their GayGuard…er…GameGuard module ><…I do hope they address this issue A.S.A.P, since the latest Gay…er…GameGuard fixes all those issues, including performance hit when antivirus is running and also other quick launch issues.

When I try to stop the service for Audiosvr, a popup appears saying: The operation could not be completed. Access denied. When I try the play music option, the music automatically stops and cannot be played. Any help?
Ah I found the problem. There is a security program built into visa called user account control. You must deactivate that for the tutorial to work because it will not recognize you as the administrator even if you are. It’s found in control panel > user accounts, then un-check the box and restart the computer. You might want to mention this. Great tutorials Miyuki. Thank you very much.
..I went inside my camp on Trickster and the music stopped playing and after that like i couldnt move and stuff and i dont know if its going to save anything to trickster because i have to close it down but im afraid it wont save anything :( help please?D:
